My Crazy Summer

So I was so excited to start a blog, but I have been so busy this summer, I haven't had much free time to do anything with it. First of all, I've been teaching swimming lessons in the morning, going from the pool straight to Cornwall to work all afternoon, and then Tuesday and Thursday nights, going to the Athletic Club to work in the Kid's Club there. Then, about a month ago, Brett went mountain biking with our friend Tom and decided to go off a jump. Apparently, he knew he was in trouble from the moment he took off, and he was thrown off his bike and landed on his head. Thankfully, he didn't break anything, but it took over three weeks for him to feel even semi-normal. My 10 year reunion was a couple of weekends ago and the Leadership Summit at Cornwall was last week. It's been one thing after another, combined with an invalid husband and his unpredictable schedule. The rest of August is still pretty busy for us, believe it or not, I am looking forward to September!
