Fall, Friends & Martin Sexton

We had a great day on Saturday! Brett and I walked the South Bay trail and enjoyed the beautiful fall day. Brett was playing around with our camera and took some fun pictures of the trail.

The pictures do not do the gorgeous colors of fall justice! Our friend, Linda, just taught me some new tricks with my camera, which I can't wait to try! After our walk, we stopped by the Farmer's Market and then Starbucks, where I had my first latte in months! Coffee's actually starting to sound good to me again! After our walk, we took a trip down to Seattle with our good friends, Tyler and Elizabeth to see Martin Sexton perform at the Town Hall. First we dropped their almost one-year-old, Riley, off at Grandma's, where she modeled her Halloween costume for us. So cute! And Brett absolutely adores her!

After stopping for pizza and beer (for everyone but me, of course, *sigh*) and dessert, we went to see Martin Sexton.

The venue was awesome, super cozy and intimate. And, he is an amazing performer. We were trying to figure out ways to describe him, but we just can't. He can do the most incredible things with his voice and his guitar, and his shows are so engaging, you don't want them to end. Check out his website http://www.martinsexton.com/. I would highly encourage you to check out one of his shows if you ever get the chance. He is awesome!
