My sweet little baby is 1 today! The past year has gone by so fast, but I absolutely cannot remember what life was like before Jack! Hard to believe he's grown from this:

Today, we had a great day even though the weather wasn't as nice as we were hoping. Jack's had a pretty bad cold, so we kind of laid low today. We went to Starbucks this morning and his friends there gave him a cupcake. We ended up spending the afternoon at the doctor's office where our poor little guy was diagnosed with another ear infection. Then Jack decided he wanted Mexican food for dinner and we were happy to oblige, ending our day at Taco Lobo. We've been doing a lot of reminiscing and enjoying each moment with our little man, who has been in the best mood today in spite of being sick!
We had a party for Jack on Sunday with all of our family. Jack had a great time opening all of his gifts and performed well devouring his first cupcake.
We did have to hose him off in the sink when he was done!
It was a beautiful day so Jack had to try out his new sandbox from his grandma and grandpa.
I think we're going to be spending a lot of time in it this summer! Thank you so much to everybody for the wonderful gifts and sharing the day with us! Jack is loving all his new toys, books and clothes!
And to Jack on his 1st birthday: We are so blessed to have you in our lives! You are an amazing boy with so much personality. You make me laugh every day. Being your mama is better than I could ever have imagined. I can't wait to see what the next year brings. I love you so much, little man! Happy Birthday!
