The Northwest Washington Fair

Last Friday we took Jack to the Lynden Fair. We haven't been for a couple of years, but it's always fun to go and check out all the animals, eat fair food and see all sorts of people. Jack had so much fun! He had to check out everything! He was so fascinated by all the animals, we literally had to drag him out of each barn. He had so much fun at the petting area, actually getting to touch baby calves, a chicken, a guinea pig and a new little piglet. Brett and I loved seeing the pure joy Jack got out of seeing so many animals up close and personal.

Towards the end of our night, we wandered through the ride and game area. We couldn't resist letting Jack play the little duck game where you pick a duck and get a prize. First, because Jack LOVES ducks, but also because I remember playing that game when I was little. He won a little toy and picked out the bumblebee. He wasn't too keen on the sound of the rides, but we're thinking that might save us some money in the long run!
