Jack's 1st Excavator Ride

Jack got to ride on an excavator with his Poppe today. He's super obsessed with excavators right now, but we weren't sure how he was going to react being that he doesn't like those little rides at the mall. He was in heaven. I could have left him there all day!

 

"Scoop and Dump" is what excavators do according to Jack. Today, he helped fill several dump truck loads. He couldn't stop talking about it all day. And I think Poppe was in heaven too.

He got to help smooth the dirt out on a smaller one too. After we were done, we headed to pick some strawberries. I think Jack ate almost as much as we picked! All in all, I think this may have been Jack's idea of a perfect Saturday.
