Beatin' the Heat

These are just a few pics from this hot week! We are sooo glad it's cooled down after the record breaking heat wave! I used to love it when it was this ho. , I could lay out and work on my tan or go to the pool for a swim whenever I wanted. It's so different now with a 3 month old. I have felt so bad for the little guy this week! He's been sticky and sweaty all day and all night long. And he's so little, he doesn't understand. All he knows is that he's hot and uncomfortable! Every day this week, we visited the pool in the late afternoon to have a break from our unbearable house. Jack would swim with me for a bit then take a nap (mostly what my pics are of since I was mostly just him and I. I love it when he sleeps!) and then swim some more. And the only day he got dressed was the day grandma came to watch him! I do love summer, but this has been a bit much, even for me!
