Snow and Sickness

We've been hit with about 10 or so inches of snow at our house! With the wind chill right now, it is actually below 0 degrees outside too. Good thing Jack's been sick and we've been homebound for almost the last week! He came down with a fever Friday afternoon, threw up on Sunday and continues to have a cough, runny nose and red, watery eyes. We braved the icy roads and took him to the doctor this morning and on top of whatever virus he has going on, he also has the start of an ear infection. Poor little guy! I'm thankful to be on the end of whatever bug he has, but I am also going a little stir crazy. I don't mind the snow, but being stuck at home with a sick kiddo for almost 7 days is enough to put anyone over the edge!

He did feel up for playing for a couple of minutes when the snow first started. He lasted for about 5 minutes before he was ready to come inside. It took us longer to get ready.

The snow is so beautiful, but it can go away now. Mama needs out of here!
