Happy May Day!

It was such a beautiful first day of May today! We went for a walk and enjoyed the sunshine. Jack doesn't like getting in his car seat, but he immediately settles down once you start moving. It was the first time I had been out since even before Jack was born, so we didn't go too far, but it felt so great to get out!

I even ventured out today with Jack on my own. Brett had to go run some errands and fill out some paperwork for his new job (he starts Monday!) so I met my mom at the dentist's office and she took care of Jack while I had my teeth cleaned. Unforutnately, I have my first cavity and I'm a little bummed about it! Plus, I think I'm more fearful of having my teeth drilled than I was giving birth!

After a little bit of a fussy afternoon yesterday, Jack slept the best he's ever slept last night! We were able to put him in his cradle after 3 different feedings last night and he went right to sleep. I feel so lucky! But, he's been sleeping all day today, so we will see what tonight will bring!
