7 Months Old!

Jack is 7 months old now! He's still working on figuring out how to crawl, but getting closer and closer every day. He's enjoying all kinds of different food: oatmeal, sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans, applesauce, pears, bananas, chicken and peaches-his new favorite! He hates wearing a bib and will try to pull it over his head so we usually just get him naked. He likes to try and pull himself up and stand on everything, but he's still not quite strong enough to do it without somebody right behind him. He's started making "mamamama" sounds and just this weekend "dadadada" sounds. He loves to play in water in the bath and the sink and I took him swimming at the BAC one day and he absolutely loved it! Also, I think we're going to have to vacuum more often because he's noticing and now able to pick up little pieces of lint or whatever catches his interest on the floor. Jack's still a mama's boy and this past week, he's been especially clingy. I know I've been saying this for a few months now, but I think he's actually teething now. He's got to be, right? He didn't want to stay in the nursery at MOPS and he wasn't super happy with Grandma and Grandpa while Brett and I were at small group. Come on, teeth! Really, though, Jack just gets more and more fun. He's becoming so interactive-he loves to be thrown up in the air and to go upside down. He just loves attention from anyone! I can't believe that it's possible to love somebody as much as we love Jack. He is the apple of our eye and we absolutely ADORE him!
