Lately, Jack's been:
- Rolling, stretching, reaching for whatever his little heart desires in his line of vision. He can get to things so quickly, even without crawling!
- Loving to make noise by banging any two things together.
- Playing with anything that's not a toy: a wooden spoon, a mixing bowl, a plastic cup, the lid to a container, an empty cracker box. We have no need to spend a dime on toys.
- Fascinated by anything with wheels: cars, trucks, buses, shopping carts, strollers. He pushes me out of his way so he can follow them down the road or sidewalk. So funny.
- Loving to sit on the couch or in a chair by himself (with our close supervision nearby, of course!)
- Smiling really big with his eyes squinted almost shut and opening and closing his mouth a couple of times.
- Loving attention from whoever will give it to him!
- Trying to pull himself up onto everything, but is not yet too successful at it.
- Bouncing in his jumperoo for several straight minutes. I laugh every time he does this because it looks so funny.
- Checking himself out in mirrors or anything reflective. It looks like he's trying to kiss himself and it's especially funny with a stacking cup he has with a mirror on the bottom:

He's so happy and so much fun! I love to see what he will do next!
