It's been a long week in the Williams' household. Last Friday night, I started to get a fever and to not feel very well. After 3 days of running a temp, I then became congested and developed a cough. Thankfully, it was the weekend and Brett took Monday off to take care of Jack (and me, too!) By Wednesday evening, I was feeling a lot better and feeling pretty confident Jack would miraculously not get it...He woke up Thursday morning with a fever. And then he became congested and developed a cough. It's the first time Jack has been sick. It's such a bummer! There's nothing we can really do for our little guy. He seems to be feeling much better today, he just still has a bit of a cough (and we inevitably have some bad habits now to break.) I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that Brett doesn't come down with it. It has not been fun.
Ironically, I'm pretty sure I caught the bug at the U2 concert the last week of October since that's really the only place I have been. It was a big deal for us since we hadn't been out in forever and we were leaving Jack for the longest we had ever left him. The concert was so awesome and we had a blast, I just can't believe I'm still paying for it almost two weeks later!
